I like nothing better than to look at and touch really really old artifacts, fossils, stone walls, fabric, antique wood. If you don’t want me to touch it, you’d better put a “Do Not Touch” sign on it. There’s something about running my hands over something that someone touched thousands of years ago, or that something walked on millions of years ago. Clearly, I cannot put any of these “souvenirs” in my backpack or suitcase, but I can take photographs. I found this beautiful illuminated manuscript page in the Neues Museum in Berlin Germany.
